Erina’s residency lasted for one month in August and September, 2024. The events showcased Erina’s artistic vision and served as a gathering point for discussions surrounding contemporary art practices.
During the performance, Erina explored various ways of connecting with the space and a found object in her residency at HART, aligning her body with these elements in an attempt to deepen the relationship between her art and the environment.
At Erina’s Open Studio and the evening events, we were thrilled to see a diverse audience, including art practitioners, gallerists, artists, curators, and members of the public, engaging in close dialogues with her.
During the artist talk, Erina shared her creative insights and thought-provoking ideas regarding the three works exhibited as part of the Art Futures Residency events yesterday.
In the final section, Erina’s work, “About the Gap between Ma and You” was presented in an extended version that invited audience participation, leading to an intriguing and dynamic interaction with the attendees.
